My Story

My journey with the digital world began in 1985 when my dad gifted me with a Computer Science textbook and a Commodore 128, encouraging me to figure it out. I've always been determined to create the perfect designs, even as an elementary school student, which led me to hack Print Shop's code.

I moved to Boston in 2000 to study architecture, unaware of the limitless possibilities my design and building skills held in the world of the web. It wasn't until six years later that my interest in the fiber arts was sparked by a knitted scarf. I taught knitting math at MIT, created knitting groups across Boston, and contributed original patterns to Raverly. In 2009, I won the Dale of Norway Knitting Design Contest, becoming a world champion in knitting design.

In 2010, I joined beautylish.com as the first technical hire and the third employee, where I led UX/UI Design and Front End Development from early conception through growth for over nine years. My architecture serves 5 million customers in 8 languages and generates 8-digit revenue annually.

These days, I'm all about sharing my love for teaching and my technical know-how with entrepreneurs to create highly-polished experiences on a solid technical foundation. I'm currently searching for my next startup project, so if you have an exciting idea, don't hesitate to email me. With my tools, drive, and leadership experience, we can build a platform beyond your wildest dreams.
